Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on June 15, 2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
- Departmental Candidates: Up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST)
Educational Qualifications
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi
- Hindi Typist: 12th pass with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi
- Store Keeper: 10th pass with experience in store/account work
- Cook: 10th pass with certificate/diploma in catering and 1 year of cooking experience
- Carpenter/Painter: 10th pass with ITI in respective trade or ex-serviceman with relevant skills
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th pass with 1 year of experience as Watchman, Lascar, or Gestetner Operator
- Mess Staff: 10th pass with experience in mess duties
- Housekeeping Staff: 10th pass or equivalent
- Laundryman: 10th pass with experience in laundry work
- Vulcaniser: 10th pass or ex-serviceman in related trade
- Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (OG): 10th pass with driving knowledge

Application Process
- Download Application Form: Obtain the form from the official IAF website or the notification PDF.
- Fill in Details: Complete the form with accurate personal and educational information.
- Attach Documents:
- Self-attested copies of educational certificates
- Experience certificates (if any)
- Caste/category certificates (if applicable)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Two self-addressed envelopes with ₹10/- stamps
- Envelope Superscription: Write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ IN GROUP ‘C’ AND CATEGORY ______” on the envelope.
- Submission: Send the application by ordinary post to the respective Air Force Station/Unit address as listed in the notification.
- Deadline: Ensure the application reaches by June 15, 2025 (June 22 for remote areas).
Selection Process
- Written Test:
- Objective type questions based on minimum educational qualifications.
- Subjects: General Intelligence, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness.
- No negative marking.
- Skill/Practical/Physical Test:
- Typing test for LDC/Hindi Typist.
- Driving test for CMTD.
- Job-specific tasks for MTS and other posts.
- Document Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates must present original certificates for verification.
- Merit List:
- Based on written test marks, subject to qualifying in skill/practical/physical tests.
