The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced its Deputy Manager Recruitment 2025, offering 150 vacancies across Electrical, Mechanical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) disciplines. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen NTPC’s technical leadership across its projects in India.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Deputy Manager (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• Deputy Manager (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with at least 60% marks.
• Deputy Manager (C&I): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% marks.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection, Engineering, or a combination thereof in a power plant/project of 200 MW or above.
• For candidates from Government/PSUs: At least 2 years in a pay scale of ₹60,000–1,80,000 (E3 grade or above, effective from 01/01/2017) or equivalent in CDA scale (₹15,600–39,100 with Grade Pay ₹6,600, pre-revised).

Age Limit:

• Maximum 40 years as of 09/06/2025.
• Age relaxation as per Government norms: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC-NCL – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – 5 years (with a minimum of 5 years’ service).

Pay Scale

• E4 Grade: ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000 (IDA)
