Eligibility Criteria
For Secondary Level (Classes IX–X):
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution, or
- A 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
For Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI–XII):
- Educational Qualification:
- Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution, or
- A 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years

Selection Process
The selection process comprises:
- Written Examination: Objective-type questions assessing subject knowledge and teaching aptitude. (60 marks)
- Evaluation of Academic Qualifications: Based on marks obtained in relevant degrees. (10 marks)
- Teaching Experience: Marks awarded for prior teaching experience in government or government-aided/sponsored schools. (10 marks)
- Interview: Assessment of communication skills, subject knowledge, and suitability for the teaching role. (10 marks)
- Lecture Demonstration: Evaluation of teaching methodology and classroom management skills. (10 marks)
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the existing state government norms, including basic pay and applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and others.
