Eligibility Criteria

For Secondary Level (Classes IX–X):

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution, or
  • A 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.

For Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI–XII):

• Educational Qualification:
  • Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution, or
  • A 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PH: 8 years

• General & OBC Candidates: ₹500
• SC/ST/PH Candidates: ₹200

Selection Process

The selection process comprises:

2. Evaluation of Academic Qualifications: Based on marks obtained in relevant degrees. (10 marks)
3. Teaching Experience: Marks awarded for prior teaching experience in government or government-aided/sponsored schools. (10 marks)
4. Interview: Assessment of communication skills, subject knowledge, and suitability for the teaching role. (10 marks)
5. Lecture Demonstration: Evaluation of teaching methodology and classroom management skills. (10 marks)

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the existing state government norms, including basic pay and applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and others.
